Now that my first collection: “THE DEVIL IN ME” is finished, I’ve already started working on designs and materials, as well as the theme of my next collection for fall at FW S/S 2012 in NYC. The title of my next collection, as of right now, is “DEATH OF AN AMERICAN WESTERN”. I want this collection to tell a story, unlike my first collection that was an accumulation of the time I spent in Texas, 2008-2010.
The next collection is going to be much more rugged, messy, but put together. Im going to be drawing from a lot of different inspirations for this one. The collection will be themed western//cowboy & indian life clashing with ancient civilization//ancient alien influences, as well as a spacey ethereal feel with meteorites and crystals as well as some fossils. Im also going to be missing leather and chain mail into my collection with the regular bones/teeth/claws/fur/feathers that I use. I have been really into ancient alien theory the last few months and all these really old civilizations in peru, the middle east, etc.. Here is just a few materials I’ll be using…
